The Residence Maldives

The Residence Maldives is an exclusive and secluded retreat of unparalleled beauty in Falhumaafushi, a pristine island located in Gaafu Alifu Atoll - one of the largest and deepest atolls in the world.

The Maldives has long been the top destination for those with a penchant for underwater adventures, freshly-prepared seafood and picturesque beaches. The newly-opened Residence Maldives fulfils all that and more.

I suggest that you should begin the day with a hearty breakfast served in bed - in-room private dining is available in all the villas. Spend the afternoon snorkelling amongst the resplendent coral reefs. When the sun sets, saunter along the shores with a cocktail in hand, and end the day with scrumptious grilled specialties at The Falhumma.
Those lucky enough to secure one out of 39 water pool villas, go for an after-dark dip – it’s a most sublime experience. Island-hopping is also available upon request.

The 2013 Porsche Boxster

Porsche Boxster 2013 is one of the more lust-worthy convertibles to look out for on the roads later this year.
The third-generation Boxster and Boxster S boast an all-aluminium frame that is sleeker, with the main design upgrade, the square-shaped headlights, being a teaser reference to the upcoming, still-newer 918 Spyder Hybrid Supercar.

Exterior

Aesthetics aside, the 2013 Boxsters are also pure performance machines, powered by flat-six engines with direct fuel injection, the efficiency of which is further enhanced by electrical system recuperation, thermal management and start/stop function.
The base model's new power unit delivers 265 hp from a 2.7 liter displacement - ten hp more than its larger displacement predecessor. Both models hold a manual six-speed gearbox as standard with the seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) available as an option. With all that engine power, you'll get a really fast drive: the Boxster sprints from zero to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds, the Boxster S in 4.7 seconds.

Interior

The new Boxsters are slated to arrive at Porsche dealerships by early summer of 2012, with the base car starting at US$49,500 and the S version at US$60,900. Impatient autofans who are twiddling your thumbs in anticipation, watch the teaser campaign below, and try not to hyperventilate!

Most Expensive Champagne in the World

Following the news from around the world I've created the list of the most expensive Champagnes in the world

#4 Cristal Brut 1990 “Methuselah”

Price: $17,625

This six-liter, gold-labeled bottle of Cristal Brut 1990, dubbed the Methuselah, was sold at a Sotheby’s auction in New York to an undisclosed buyer in 2005. At the time, Cristal was a favorite of the hip-hop crowd.

#3 Dom Perignon White Gold Jeroboam
Price: $40,000
During the same year, a limited edition bottle of Dom Perignon became the most expensive champagne in the world. Sold in three-liter bottles, the Dom Perignon White Gold Jeroboam was sold to commemorate the New Year. Much of its price, however, is surely due to the white gold bottle from which the expensive wine takes its name.

#2 Pernod-Ricard Perrier-Jouet
Price: $50,000

Each of the 100 sets contains twelve bottles of fine, expensive champagne. Marketed only to the ultra-rich, buyers will have the chance personalize their drinking experience by choosing the liqueur used in the champagne and they’ll have to fly to Eastern France to do so. The sets are being sold to consumers in the United States, Britain, Japan, China, Russia, Switzerland and France. The price even includes a storage nest where the champagne may be allowed to age for up to eight months!

#1 Shipwrecked 1907 Heidsieck
$275,000

These hundred year old bottles of Champagne from the Heidsieck vineyard in Champagne took over eighty years to reach their destination. Shipped to the Russian Imperial family in 1916, a shipwreck off the coast of Finland caused this champagne to be lost at sea until divers discovered over 200 bottles in 1997. Now they’re finally being sold to wealthy guests at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Moscow, at least. Of course, the wine’s extraordinary tale and incredible age are what makes it the world’s most expensive champagne.

We save the best for last

There's only one way of gaining access to the truth, and that's not to expect anything. But this time I was expecting everything. I was tasting something with my friends. It was...

Champagne Krug Clos d'Ambonnay 1995

Well somebody who was drinking Champagne should know that Krug is one of the most prestigious brands. After buying this Champagne me and my friends were realy close to bankruptcy. Anyway all what I can say that it was really worth it !

Something about Champange...

The Clos d'Ambonnay is a blanc de noirs made entirely from Pinot Noir. Ambonnay is a village in the Montagne de Reims, rated grand cru, where the southeast exposure tends to yield richer, fuller wines. For 15 years, Champagne Krug has kept a secret. During that time, brothers Rémi and Henri Krug, the former managing director and winemaker, respectively, and Henri's son, Olivier Krug, the current managing director, dreamed about, developed, vinified and aged a new single-vineyard Champagne. The new wine, Clos d'Ambonnay 1995, has one of the highest-ever price tags of a newly released wine. The palate is deliciously fresh and dynamic. A magnificent harmony of brioche, grilled almond, caramelizec spices and luxuriant red friut.

So, if you want the best that Champagne can offer, You should leave your money in the wine shop and drink something that is beyond marketing.
